Having fun with balloons

Sometimes we are asked for some unusual decor for a party or club event, we do our best to supply what the client needs.
We were once ask for a martial art character with a weapon, so we supplied a balloon ninja with a set of balloon nunchaku for the promotional stand which was advertising the martial art club. They also wanted several balloon ninjas in the colour of the belts that can be achieved in the club. The photograph on the right is the balloon ninja.
Balloon buddys can be used for kids parties or promotional work . The photograph on the left is from a local dentists fun day with all the staff dressed up and having fun.
Sometimes we are asked to supply balloon releases for different reasons, Such as fund raising, promoting an event, in memory of a person, etc. For example a primary school asked us to inflate the balloons and have them ready to release with race labels to see how far the balloons go. The school was using the balloon release to raise funds.
On this occasion the children were allowed to hold onto a single balloon each and we had the rest of the balloons ready in a netso we could release them together. When the children counted down from 10 to 1 we then all released the balloons at the same time. The children loved letting them go and seeing all the balloons floating up up and away into the sky. The children loved it as they were yelling, screaming and cheering with the excitment of seeing all the balloons floating away, and may I say so were the adults.
We did another release in Belfast and when the release cards came back, the furthest was posted from Sweden.
We also provided a balloon release for the Olypmic Torch leaving Newtownabbey and arriving in Carrickfergus, to celebrate the great event. The atmosphere of the Olypmic Torch as it passed us was very exciting. As the Torch passed from Newtownabbey into Carrickfergus we helped the Mayor of Newtownabbey release the balloons to celebrate that historic event. The balloons in this release also had a race label but we have not found out yet if any of the labels have been returned. The photograph on the left shows the Mayor of Newtownabbey , The Olypmic Torch carrier and Jim getting photographs taken before releasing the balloons.
We are also asked to prepare balloon drops for New Years Eve so that when the New Year arrives, the balloons can be releases on to the crowd. The photograph on the left shows a balloon drop which we supply every year at Cafe Vaudiville in Belfast. The ceiling is over 40 ft high and when we are rigging the drop we have to watch out for the other ceiling decorations, in case they get caught up, but its all good fun. The photograph on the right is of another balloon drop that shows the balloons being dropped onto the crowd of excited party goers.
